Our Sustainability

We took our sweet time to research the right stars to align for our brand (aka our materials and manufacturing) and we are proud to share with you our sustainability values!

FABRIC

Our signature rib knit fabric is made from TENCEL™ Modal fibers.

TENCEL™ Modal is made from wood pulp from Beechwood trees, produced by environmentally responsible processes from the sustainably sourced natural raw material wood.

Our fabric is made in the USA, where it is knit, dyed using non toxic, azo free, phlathalate free and metal free dyes.

The fabric is very soft,  stretchy, breathable, light weight, durable and flexible.

93% Modal / 7% Spandex mix.

MANUFACTURING

Our garments are made in New York City, in small batches in a Fair Trade Certified, Minority Woman Owned factory.

Our goal with our garments is to produce the highest quality clothing staples that will be lived in and loved by you for a very long time.

Designed so you can do more with less with our versatile designs in neutral colors that pair well with each other and other items.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

We do not believe in attributing to landfill, that is why we produce in small batches and our designs are meant to be capsules in the wardrobe.

We are not trying to chase trends, we want our pieces to be with you for a long time, which is why we invested in the high quality fabric and production.

All our inventory is live until it sells out, therefore we do not throw out any products to landfill, if we have to discard any product for some reason, we will always donate.

OUR PRICING

We understand the frustration on how sometimes sustainable clothing comes with a high price tag. Therefore, we have made the decision to lower our margins in order to offer you the most fair price for our products. We believe you will love Neutral Lining and want to share it with all your friends and family and we will count on that to grow our business! :) So thank you in advance for that.

We always produce ethically and sustainably in fair trade factories, so we are not skimming there, EVER.
